WetlandCare Australia is continuing their Priority Wetlands Rehabilitation Project into 2008 with funding from the NRCMA and the Commonwealth Government’s Natural Heritage Trust.
Similar to the last 12 months, WetlandCare Australia and the NRCMA will be offering funding for rehabilitation works in Priority Wetland areas.
Work will continue in last years priority wetlands:
- Arakoon
- Maria River
- Limeburners Creek
- Wooli River
Work will extend to a further three (3) priority wetlands:
- Tuckean Swamp
- Cudgen Lake
- Goolawah Lagoon
Landholders are encouraged to enquire about funds available if they are in one of the above locations. More information will be included on the website as funds are made available.
